Working for Ōtepoti Women Publication

In 2023 Working for Ōtepoti Women (WŌW) commissioned Simply Stories to deliver a very special project.  WŌW is an incorporated society that took over the resources of the Dunedin YWCA upon its closure. It’s directive was to grant the Dunedin YWCA’s trust money to local women-led organisations. Upon completion of this task, WŌW decided to use the last of the Dunedin YWCA’s funds to document the final chapter of the organisation’s journey which spanned over 140 years. Over 30 women were photographed and interviewed by the Simply Stories team to craft a publication that shared the story of the final chapter of the Dunedin YWCA. The publication is due to launch in September 2025.
